Ok, not quite sure what happened tonight but this is what I know...
We want to go to NY. Fred, Nate, and I definitely were planning on going. If this were the case, Nate said that he would be able to drive. GREAT!
Brian was a maybe, but if he chose to go than we would be able to fit him in Nate's car.
Brian called me and asked if it would be ok for Anne to go. I say yes, I don't have a problem with her coming. However, this means that Nate's car is no longer capable of taking us there.
I do not have a car that can take us to NY. I haven't postponed fixing the car... I do not plan on fixing the car... you guys can give me a hard time for not fixing it but I'm going to be taking it off of the road next week so why would I?
This leaves two people with cars (out of the ones that we currently had attending). Nate and Brian. I don't know if Anne even has her own car... so last night at coffee I stated two possible driving situations based on information that I had currently.
What is the problem? Matt has a car that he has offered us to use if we bring him along. If I was involved in the conversation that erupted, I'm sure things could have been worked out.
It's not six hours away... it's four, we'd get there before midnight.
If Brian doesn't want to drive, he doesn't have to but Anne can't fit into Nate's car. Matt has since offered his car so it's not a problem.
What's the problem here?
My grandfather is either ALREADY in NY getting the place ready or will be tomorrow so I'd really appreciate communication here. |
